Thumbs up and down

Thumbs up to the coffee bar. This gives students the opportunity to learn in the business department.

Thumbs down to the no backpack policy. We miss the convenience of carrying all of our books to class in our backpacks.  Plus, we have to visit our lockers throughout the day and this adds to the inconvenience of being able to use our backpacks and purses.

Thumbs up to the school store. This gives students a chance to experience how it is in the real world.

Thumbs up to the large number of dual credit classes offered at LCHS. Though these classes are tough and challenging, taking them gives students a head start in college at a reduced rate.

Thumbs up to HoCo plans starting. Many thanks to Student Council for heading this event each year.

Thumbs down to not being able to eat hot lunch in the hallway. There’s not enough room in the cafeteria.  The crowded cafeteria makes lunchtime difficult to navigate on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Thumbs up to the no cell phone policy. Students can focus on their work in class now.

Thumbs down to the longer class periods.

Thumbs up and down to the new 8th period, while it helps students have more opportunities, however…

Thumbs down to the new 8th period.  Some believe its a waste of their time.
