Air Force JROTC changes command

The LCHS Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) unit WV-941 recently conducted its annual change of command ceremony  January 26 in the auditorium.

The purpose of the ceremony was to “hand over” the command from C/LT.COL Logan.A.Barnette to the new commander C/LT.COL Robert.C.Fisher.

After the ceremony C/LT.COL Robert Fisher distributed new ranks to a handful of young outstanding cadets.  According to Fisher, these cadets showed “true merit” and also a great amount “of pride to wear the Air Force uniform.”

At the end of the ceremony C/LT.COL Robert Fisher gave a brief speech about what he’s planning to change while serving as the new Squadron Commander.

Cadets said they wish Barnette well in his military future, and they wish Fisher success in running the squadron.
