The Minutemaids softball season has started and it has been a good season with a record of 13-8.

In the Big 10 Gold Bracket the Minutemaids faced Lincoln (#1 in the Big 10) and lost (0-2), and afterward faced Robert C Bryd and also lost (0-2).

According to players, Lincoln was a “hard fought game” for the Minutemaids softball team but the ‘Maids ended up coming short of bringing home a win.

The ‘Maids softball team will be losing a total of three seniors this season including Abby Hartley, Brooke Butcher and Taylor Weese.

The ‘Maids will face Roane County on May 3rd 2022, for the first round of sectionals.
