Robotics Captures State Title

The LCHS Robotics team captured yet another title in the West Virginia VCR State Tournament.

The team comprised of Ben Goodwin, Owen Spangler, Cameron Lattea and Claire Lattea captured the state title which gave them a bid to the World Tournament.

The team is in its third year under the direction of MstSgt. Bill Linger and have amassed a several wins both at the sectional, regional and state level.

Last year, the team earned a berth to the World Championship in Tennessee, but due to COVID-19, the event was cancelled.

Team members said they were glad to get a chance to return and hope for continued success.
