HoCo 2021: Coronation Highlights

For just a moment, LCHS seemed to be the “Happiest Place on Earth” following in the theme of Homecoming Week.
For the first time in school history, LCHS sponsored Homecoming during the Spring Semester.
Though most students will agree the 2020-21 school year has been anything but normal, for one week, LCHS “seemed” to go back in time pre-pandemic as LCHS students celebrated the annual Homecoming.
The LCHS Student Council sponsored the annual Homecoming for the 2020-21 school year.
Homecoming was delayed until the second semester, but students said they were happy they had the chance to feel “normal” again.
Students participated in several traditional events like Spirit Week and Banner Decorating.
However, with COVID-19 restrictions, Student Council members said they wanted to offer students some different options.
Students said their favorite addition was hallway decorating. Each class had a theme and had approximately two weeks to decorate a hallway. Members also sponsored a lunchtime Kahoot competition between advisories and a door decorating contest.
