Before Regionals, the team also played in the Big Ten Tourney conducted at Bel Meadow Country Club September 21.

Although we did not fare very well in Big Ten and Regionals, I felt it was a great learning experience for our young team,” Coach Kenny James said. Ryanne was a true leader throughout the season as she, too, came up just a few strokes short of making Second Team All Big Ten and going to States as an individual.

Golf kicked off to a late start beginning their first match August—due to the COVID-19 delay.

The regular season lasted about a month beginning — going through–.

Players said the season went smoothly other than the late start, and the team remained in good health as they played through the COVID-19 pandemic.

The season overall was hectic at times dealing with the Covid outbreak,” James said, but we finished our season with all good health and look forward to coming back strong next season and hopefully under normal conditions.

The team consisted of Seniors Ryanne Garrett and Ben Goodwin; Junior Cameron Ross; Sophomores Wyatt Burns, Austin Crum and Emily Lybargerand freshman, Hunter Starett.
