LCHS students participated in the Regional Social Studies Fair competition at Glenville State College:
Iesa Woodall, with her project on the Johnstown Flood, Hayden Barnette received 2nd Place in Economics for his project on the Government Shutdown, Presley Turner received 1st place in Psychology for her project on the Psychology of Cults, and Abby Oldaker received 1st place in World History for her project on Auschwitz.
Presley and Abby will advance to the final round of the competition, the West Virginia State Social Studies Fair on April 26th in Charleston. It is an honor to be invited to the state level of competition. This will be Presley’s second trip to states, as she won 3rd in the state for her project last year.
