The 2018 edition of the LCHS Minuteman Football team is in a state of limbo as they finish the season with a regular season bye.

The Minutemen are currently ranked 15th, and the AA WV State Play-Offs take the top sixteen teams.  The Minutemen hope to earn a play-off spot, but that will not be finalized until all games are played Friday, November 2.  Then, it will be up to the WVSSAC Committee and their rankings.

Play-off rankings will be released next week.

If they get in the post-season, they will likely be on the road playing a top-ranked team.

Players and coaches agree that they want to extend the season by making it into the play-offs.
