    Senior Ayden Wyckoff finished his senior season by representing LCHS at the WV State Golf Tournament at Olgaby Park near Wheeling. Wyckoff finished 12th.

   The LCHS golf team narrowly missed a state berth by one stroke in sudden death playo-off. Wyckoff shot an 88 that sent him to States. He represented the Minutemen on Jones Course at Olgebay on October 2-3. Wyckoff shot a score of 80 in the first round and 79 in the second round, ending with a score of 159. Wyckoff completed 12th out of 45 players. him to the tourney  for his third consecutive year.

   The golf team has traveled to several tournaments, including the Calloway Tournament, Marion County High School Tournament and Regionals at Bridgeport Country Club. The team finished third at the Big Ten Tournament with a score of 338.     

     The team is led by Wyckoff and fellow senior Chase Freeman. Followig are Juniors Austin Riley and Kole Bozic and Hunter Heath, Sophomores Ryanne Gar-rett and Haley Smith, and Freshman Luke Riley.      

   The Minutemen golfers use Stonewall Resort Golf Course as their home course. The team is coached by Mr. Mark Workman and Mr. Kenny James.
