Thumbs Up and Down

Thumbs up to daily intramural activities in the gym. We like having a place to go for lunchtime activities.

Thumbs up to all the painting and physical improvements to our school.  Thanks to all who made it happen.

Thumbs up to the new “Flying LC” completed by Mrs. Diana Garrett and her students.  Also, a thumbs up to Mrs. Michelle Simms for painting the LC logo on the football field.

Thumbs down to the broken bathroom stall locks.

Thumbs up to the return of Friday night football games. The football players, band, cheerleaders, WarZone, JROTC and concession stand are a nice start to fall.

Thumbs up to our many local businesses who help sponsor everything from t-shirts to radio advertisements for football games. We appreciate you.

Thumbs down to students not being able to go on the hill without parental supervision. Just because some students did something bad doesn’t mean everybody should be punished.

Thumbs down to the shortened lunch period.  Please consider finding a way to add two or three minutes back to our lunch time.

Thumbs up to the annual PowderPuff game.  It’s a great time for the entire student body.

Thumbs down to the awful cell phone service.  It seems like being so close to I-79 we should have better service in the school.

Thumbs up t0 Student Council’s Homecoming Week activities.  They have planned a great event.

Thumbs down to loud students in the hallway during class, if your going somewhere do so quietly.

Thumbs up to the new Taco Bell coming to town.

Thumbs up to half days on PLC days.
