Romeo and Juliet Slated for November

Staff Reports

“Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?” Romeo and his love Juliet can be found in the LCHS Auditorium practicing for the Theater Department’s first fall performance in many years.

Auditions were conducted in September and practices are ongoing.

The play is based on William Shakespeare’s famous tragedy in which feuding, fighting, death, and love comes to Verona, Italy.  The bulk of the action takes place over the course of a few days. As with most Renaissance plays, the set design is fairly simple with moderately elaborate costumes.

The play is under the direction of Mr. Doug Seckman, theater and English teacher.
