LCHS Baseball Swings Through the 2022 Season

The LCHS Baseball team has swung through its season thus far with a 8-10 record.

The Minutemen have nabbed wins against University, Liberty (2), Braxton County, Point Pleasant, Elkins, Lincoln and Grafton; they have sustained losses against Herbert Hoover (2), North Marion, East Fairmont, Bridgeport, Fairmont Senior, Robert C. Byrd, Philip Barbour and Buckhannon-Upshur (2).

“Our record would show the team isn’t doing the greatest; we’ve had our ups and downs, but personally I feel as if we are a lot better than the record shows,” Zach James, junior, said.

“We are showing promise for next year as we will have all but two players returning,” James said.

This is year’s team consists of Seniors Jonah Clem, Riley Conrad; Juniors Luke Davisson, Zach James, Grant Mealey; Sophomores Joey Aman, Luke Boram, Brayden Carder, Drew Cayton, Trenton Hunt, Liam Jeffries; Freshmen Ryder Aman, Britain Hill and Wesley Palmer.

The team is coached by Tyler Wood, Connor Johnston and Collin Moneypenny.
